Helloooooo, I'm Amy the heart and hands behind Your Soulful Stills. I am a Sydney + The Central Coast based photographer to capture the good stuff. The big, messy love between families, glowing mamas-to-be, squishy in-home newborn cuddles and the love and giddiness between couples who adore each other. 

When i am up on the coast, i am usually by the water with the sun on my skin and my camera in hand chasing the soft golden light. The beach is one of my favourite locations for a session, In Sydney, you will find me at grassy fields, parks and at the beach too always searching for the real love and fun between you and your fam. 

I am not about stiff smiles or picture perfect poses (however i do always get one for the grandparents). I love capturing the real thing - wind in your hair, belly laughs, sandy toes and kids just being kids. These days move so quickly and you deserve proof of how much fun, loving chaos you had in this season of life. 

My love for photography started when i was about ten or twelve, I have always been hands on, curious and creative and i loved finding ways to create. When my dad brought home his first dslr, i picked it up and dabbled in it on and off for years. i would spend hours walking around Nurragingy reserve (if you know, you know) figuring out how it worked and noticing things to capture. There were times i stepped away but in late 2023 i decided to give it my all and i haven't looked back since. 

When i am not behind the lens, you will find me in my other happy place, wrangling a cheeky, hilarious and lets be real chaotic room full of 3 year olds in my full time job as an educator. It has given me patience and the gift of turning wild moments into joy. This is why my sessions with kids feel easy, relaxed and natural. I meet your little ones exactly where they are, keeping things light and fun so you can breathe and just be. 

Whether it is you and your love, your growing bump, those dreamy newborn days or the everyday beauty of your family as it is right now, i am here for it. With my whole heart
